The book sale will run from 10 am-4 pm on the Kentucky Street side of the library.
In keeping with this year’s summer reading theme “Adventure Begins at Your Library/La Aventura Comienza en tu Biblioteca,” the library hopes the How-To Festival will be a springboard for visitors to try new things, meet new friends, and get involved in the community. As Lawrence Public Library’s Information Services Supervisor Melissa Fisher Isaacs puts it, “The How-To Festival is a chance for people of all ages and backgrounds to learn together. We hope folks will make lifelong connections and discover opportunities to get more involved in our community. The festival is a celebration of learning where everyone can have some fun together!”
