Love books? Have a favorite sentence, scene, or character and want everyone to know?
Join the club that encourages writing in the margins, underlining, and leaving notes. We provide a special collection of books, graphic novels, and manga to use -- you provide the conversation.
How it works:
- Pick out any book from our Message collection (available at high school visits and during Teen Zone hours).
- Check the book out from Teen Zone staff (no library card required).
- Leave behind messages, sticky notes, and doodles as you read! Anything is fair game as long as you are not obstructing the text. Write a letter and leave it in between the pages. Leave a link to a playlist you made. Draw your OMG WHAT?! face on a sticky note for that super intense cliffhanger. Anything!
- After a month, bring the book back to the high school visit or Teen Zone desk so someone else can experience the book from your perspective!
