Want to do something productive this summer? Volunteer at the library! The Lawrence Public Library relies heavily on VolunTeens each summer to help us with program preparation, run events, and reshelve all the teen and children’s materials.
Becoming a VolunTeen is a great way to show your love of your library and support of your community. It also looks great for future job or college applications. The volunteer hours count towards school requirements and National Honors Society too.
VolunTeens must be in 7-12th grade and able to commit to 1 or 2 hours per week to help with shelving and/or programs. Applications are open until April 30, so apply soon!
