Kansas Department for Children and Families Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) is an annual program that provides financial assistance to families struggling to pay their heating bills during the cold winter months. LIEAP will make a one-time payment towards electric or gas bills. The program runs for a limited time in the winter; see website for most up-to-date information.
