Kansas Department for Children and Families Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) is an annual program that provides financial assistance to families struggling to pay their heating bills during the cold winter months. LIEAP will make a one-time payment towards electric or gas bills. The 2024-2025 window opens at 8am, November 18, 2024, and closes at 5pm, March 31, 2025.
Applications can be processed online, or in-person by calling and scheduling an appointment with local DCF resource agents.
