Harvester's Community Food Network has a SNAP Helpline that can help individuals determine if they are eligible for SNAP (government food assistance), and then assist them with completing and filling out SNAP applications over the phone or online.
- The first step will be to conduct a brief, free and confidential screening over the phone to determine if the caller would qualify, and then assist them with completing and filing their application.
- Once an application is filed, Harvester's Outreach team will explain next steps and provide applicants with information on how to follow-up.
- Emergency eligible approved applications may receive SNAP benefits within 7 days or less. Non-emergency applications may take up to 30 days for receipt.
