Ballard Center's Food & Clothing pantry offers clothing, shoes, work attire, kitchenware, household items, food, and diapers free of charge to those in need. Students, seniors, families or any individual is welcome to access these services.
- Pantry hours are Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm. Appointment only. Call Ballard at 785-842-0729 to make an appointment.
The Ballard Center aims to stabilize families in Douglas County, and work with them hand in hand to access resources. Their is a wide variety of programs and services available to families in crisis at Ballard.
- Ballard provides care coordination to support households with children under 18 years old, facing any financial crisis and get them back on a path to stability. Examples can be car repairs, appliance repair, housing advocacy, etc.,
- If Ballard does not have specific funding or resources for a family facing crisis, they will work to help that family find a community resources to step in and help.
