It’s summer again which means we are gearing up for our reading challenge as well as all of the amazing programs we put on to make the summer extra fun. While we’ve got a great line up of programs from performers to snacktivities, our summer clubs: Imaginairum and Wednesday Wonders provide weekly fun for ages 8-11 and 5-7 respectively.
Dinosaurs and soccer are taking over LPL this summer and our summer clubs will have BOTH. Each week we’ll explore the summer reading theme of “Read, Score, ROAR!” with dinosaur bones, science experiments, soccer, and snacks/crafts from all over the world. We’ll be joined by some incredible special guests, including the KU Natural History Museum, Mad Science, and the Topeka Zoo! Plus we’ll be dancing, decorating cookies and drawing. A lot of our programs are messy and/or wiggly so wear something you aren’t afraid to go a little wild in.
Imaginarium and Wednesday Wonders both require registration, so we can get an idea of how many kids are coming, how many crafts to prepare and how many cookies to have Eileen’s make for us 🙂 So if you’re intrigued by our summer club line up, you can register and see what we’ve got coming up weekly for each program, below.
