Everyone has feelings, but not everyone knows what to do with them. Naming feelings and practicing coping strategies with kids from the time they are young, will empower them to handle big feelings, give them the vocabulary to identify emotions, and allow kids the space to process them. This list includes books that affirm kid's experiences with their feelings, help kids identify emotions, and demonstrate useful tools and outlets to process those feelings. Depending on reading/comprehension level and personal interests, these books may be best suited for ages 0-8.
