Struggling with homework, test prep, or applying to your first job? Tutor.com is now available through the Lawrence Public Library. All you need is a library card (physical or digital) and you’re off to the races!
Tutor.com provides a wide variety of services for kids, teens, and adults. If you need a little help and are looking for a one-on-one experience, Tutor.com provides virtual access to real tutors from 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Tutors are available for both English and Spanish speakers. You’re also able to save your favorite tutors to your account so you can work with specific people when available.
If you are interested in a more self-guided experience, the website offers practice worksheets, quizzes, and instructional videos. For busy high school and college students working late into the night, you can submit math problems for review as well as writing assignments. Then, a tutor will work with you and go over the assignments with you.
For older teens, college students, and adults, Tutor.com offers resume and cover letter assistance, practice interview questions, and professional development resources.
