A huge thanks to our five intrepid travelers who shared their adventures with over 50 folks yesterday afternoon as part of Retirement Boot Camp’s inaugural season.
Caroline Trowbridge, Frank and Kim Wright, Mary Gage, and Beth Rieber offered interesting (not to mention funny) stories and beautiful photos of Kansas courthouses, English pubs and gardens, Kansas state park trails, and Tokyo in our first travel “sampler” that had something for everyone.
After the program, half of us converged on Merchants for happy hour (which may have lasted well beyond an hour) allowing presenters to answer questions from audience members and swap stories.
We were thrilled at the turnout and received lots of helpful feedback after the program. If you missed it, don’t worry. We’ll do it again in the Spring with all-new destinations and experienced travelers. You can also view two of the presentations below.
In the meantime, be sure to sign up to receive our Retirement Boot Camp newsletter so you can learn about classes, activities and other programming including “pop-up” social events to be scheduled throughout the year.
