Senior Wheels program is provided by the Senior Resource Center of Douglas County. The SRC has a fleet of six, wheelchair accessible vehicles ready to provide transportation to seniors across Douglas County. Rides are provided to individuals age 60+, on weekdays from 7am-3:30pm.
- Fares: $4.00 for each one way ride in Lawrence city limits, $8.00 for a round trip ride. $6.00 for a one-way ride outside of Lawrence but within Douglas County, $12.00 for a round-trip.
- Reservations & Scheduling: To schedule a ride, patrons can call 785-727-7876 from 8:30am-4:30pm Monday through Friday.
