Crisis Pet Retention (Lawrence Humane Society)

The Crisis Pet Retention Fund (en Español) provides Douglas County pet owners with assistance to help keep pets in their homes and support pet owners in crisis. Assistance can include help with pet deposits/pet rent, veterinary care, behavior consulting, emergency temporary boarding, wellness medical care (such as spay and neuter or vaccines), and essential pet care supplies such as food, litter, kennels, etc.

Applications for the CPR Fund are available on Lawrence Humane Society's website. If you need help applying, or have any questions about these services, call Lawrence Human Society's Social Worker, Maddie Lockett at 785-592-0531.
