O'Connell Children's Shelter provides support to children and families experiencing economic, behavioral, or other hardships. Services include:
- truancy prevention
- case management and family resource coordination
- mental health services for adults and children
- employment and educational support for adults and children
- short-term respite care for children 6-18 years old
- residential foster care group homes
Call to make an appointment with a case manager. Case managers work out of the satellite office location at 1925 Delaware Street.
O'Connell Children's Shelter also provides licensing support for individual foster homes and foster-adoption services.
