The Sexual Trauma and Abuse CARE Center provides free, confidential support to anyone impacted by sexual violence or sexual trafficking. This includes primary survivors (the person who experiences sexual harassment, assault, or abuse) as well as secondary survivors (loved ones of the primary survivor, such as family members or partners.) Services are available to anyone located in Douglas, Franklin, or Jefferson County. Services include:
- 24/7 support from trained advocates
- Individual therapy, available in-office or online
- Peer support groups
- Assistance filing a protection order
- Court advocacy
- Legal referrals
- Hospital accompaniment
All therapeutic services are provided by a licensed mental health clinician specialized in sexual trauma.
