ECKAN offers programming, services, and emergency assistance to low-income community members and families. ECKAN is open 9am-4PM Monday through Friday. No walk-ins; to schedule an appointment and learn more about program eligibility, call 785-841-3357.
Program offerings Include:
- Food pantry, available for walk-ins every Wednesday and the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month. Shoppable by appointment outside of walk-in days.
- Case management (including helping people obtain certificates of homelessness, housing assistance application support, and other housing-related case management)
- Rent/mortgage/utility assistance as available
- Health/dental/vision/medical payment assistance as available
- Court fees or other criminal-justice related payment assistance as available
- Home weatherization services
- Early childhood health and behavioral screenings and support
- Resource navigation and referrals
