Center for Supportive Communities creates customized solutions to help transform communities in Kansas and across the United States. They specialize in the prevention and treatment of challenging behavior with a unique focus on juvenile justice. They help families, schools, care systems, legal systems, and service providers infuse evidence-based interventions and programs to promote healthy development, create sustainable behavior change, and prepare our youth to exceed their potential.
SupportEd is a community-based truancy diversion program utilized by public schools, the Department for Children and Families, the District Attorney's Office, and the District Court. Truant students and their families can participate in a rehabilitative program in lieu of court involvement for truancy. SupportEd provides 1:1 mentorship, evidence-based interventions, and connects families with resources to remove barriers to school attendance.
