Crisis Pet Retention (Lawrence Humane Society)

The Crisis Pet Retention Fund (en Español) provides Douglas County pet-owners with much needed financial relief for a variety of pet issues. The goal of this Lawrence Humane Society program is to keep pets with their families as much as possible by alleviating financial stress. In addition to this fund, the Humane Society also provides monthly low-cost pet vaccination clinics & a pet food supply pantry for cats and dogs. 

  • Assistance can include help with pet deposits/pet rent, essential pet supplies, emergency vet care, behavior consulting, temporary boarding, wellness medical care, pet food supply pantry
