Habitat's Aging in Place Program aims to provide home repairs that help seniors remain in their homes safely and independently
Do I Qualify?
- Must be 55+ years old
- Must own and reside in the home
- Must live in Douglas or Jefferson County
- Have income less than 80% of the median family income (MFI)
- included total combined income for all adults living in the home
How Does Payment Work?
- Interest-free payment plan
- 5 hours of sweat / social equity
- may include greeting volunteers, writing thank you letters, sharing about your experience, etc.,

- Ramps
- Hand Rails
- Trip/fall hazards
- Porch Repairs
- Gutter/soffit Repair
- Siding Repair
- Exterior House Painting
- Roof Work
- Interior Accessibility
