Aging in Place Program (Habitat for Humanity)

Aging in Place is a program through Lawrence Habitat for Humanity that provides interior and exterior home repairs for seniors who are unable to make changes on their own. Projects Aging in Place can help with include:

  • exterior accessibility modifications like ramp, or hand railings
  • exterior repairs to things such as roofs, porches, or paint
  • accessibility modifications inside of the house

To be eligible for Aging in Place repairs, individuals must:

  • be 55+ years old
  • own and occupy their home in Douglas or Jefferson County
  • make 80% or less of median family income
